I see. Some normally gather friends and close ones together and celebrate. As for ceremonies, there are...some though none official. I am unfamiliar vith the Japanese culture as a whole, however.

Uh... I don't know. He was in the hospital for his last birthday so we never did anything for it. We usually just eat cup noodles, or take-out, or sandwiches. Yayoi started cooking for us, but Aniki just tells her to make whatever she feels like when she asks.
